When I say I’m for the rev, I mean that. I believe in using a diversity of tactics, including the vote, protesting, community organizing, boycotting, general strike, and direct action to win. As a mom, a granddaughter of immigrants, a survivor of sexual assault, and a member of the working class, I can’t be silent on issues of social and environmental justice.
My community is engaged in resisting a 3,000 square mile hyper-scale data center being built 20 minutes from our farm. Along with PSL Milwaukee, Great Lakes Neighbors United, and broad swath of local residents, we are working to protect the Great Lakes and its people. To help, please consider donating to the gofundme and signing the petition.

I am also taking part in a campaign with Midwest Environmental Advocates and Milwaukee Riverkeepers against a local CAFO that has been found to be operating without a permit across the road from the Cedarburg Bog, the largest intact bog in the state of Wisconsin. Here’s a recent article by WPR about that: After years of operating without a permit, WI dairy farm faces legal challenge.
Black lives matter. Land back. Free Palestine, free Sudan, free the Congo. No war but class war. Abortion is healthcare. Trans liberation now. All power to the people.
You don’t have to agree with me on everything in order to work together. I’m not here to change other peoples’ minds. I’m here to find the overlap that connects all of us, and to work together to actually accomplish things in real life. There are a lot of things we can do with the capacity for critical thinking and emotional intelligence.
That said, I’m always learning more about these topics and to improve and adapt my advocacy and activism strategies for the best possible outcomes. It’s vulnerable work. Thanks to all my comrades, mentors, and friends over the years who have helped inform the work I’m doing now, and thanks in advance to everyone who comes forward to connect and collaborate with me.
Cheers to the better world we know is possible.
